About

The cryptography operations company.

Standards were the easy part. The hard part is finding every algorithm in an estate you inherited, deciding what matters, changing it without an outage, and proving it stayed changed.

Why we exist

The transition is being sold as a standards problem.

The algorithms are standardized. The deadlines are published. The remaining problem is operational: most organizations cannot produce a trustworthy inventory of the cryptography they run, and the teams responsible for certificates, identity, and application delivery rarely share one.

That gap is where migrations stall. A security team buys a discovery tool and cannot act on the findings. A consultancy produces a roadmap and leaves before the certificates are reissued. A platform vendor covers TLS and ignores the firmware signing pipeline that ships to customers.

210 Security was built to close that gap: product depth for discovery and operations, consulting depth for PKI and identity, and a bias toward leaving your team able to run the result.

Principles

How we work, stated plainly.

These are operating commitments. They are also the reasons clients choose a smaller firm over a larger one.

01

Specifics over adjectives

Algorithm names, dates, and source links. If we cannot be specific about a claim, we do not make it.

02

Evidence over assurance

A migration is finished when the CBOM, the test results, and the audit trail say so — not when the project plan turns green.

03

Your team over our dependency

We document the method and pair on the work so you can run it without us. Retainers are for judgment, not for hostage-taking.

04

The boring answer when it is correct

Sometimes the right move is a smaller scope, a later date, or no engagement. Saying so early is cheaper for everyone.

Focus

Five disciplines, one dependency chain.

Cryptography, PKI, and identity are not separate programs. The migration fails at the seam between them.

Post-quantum migration
Discovery, risk prioritization, hybrid and PQC deployment, and the operations that keep it from regressing.
Public key infrastructure
CA hierarchy design, HSM integration, lifecycle automation, and the path to PQC issuance.
Identity and access
Least privilege, non-human identity inventory, federation, and governance that survives an algorithm change.
Agentic identity
Workload identity, delegation, and revocation for autonomous systems operating against real systems.
Zero Trust architecture
Identity-centric segmentation, workload identity, and continuous verification that can be evidenced.

Team

Small, senior, and deliberately technical.

Engagements are led by people who have run PKI, built signing infrastructure, and migrated identity systems — not by account managers. We work directly with your engineers.

Working with us

Start with the assessment.

Ten minutes, in your browser. Fourteen questions show where the program is exposed and what a sensible first 90 days looks like. No email required.

Hiring? We will publish open roles here when they exist.

Next step

Find out what you are actually running.

Cipher Posture finds and fixes quantum-vulnerable cryptography. Threat Model Agent models the whole system. Start with the readiness assessment.
